Audience feedback is very important to us because its a way of finding out how we could improve our opening as we all have different ideas we was told that the use of camera shots was intresting as we had many shots.
- The use of a very wide shot at the beggining was a good way of showing the surrondings and the setting of the openingit was able to start building up the tention.
- Cut-in was also used as we showed a part of the subject in detail.
- Extreme closeup we done this at the beggining to hide some of the murders face
These 3 shots were the most popular and mentioned the most the audience were able to pin point where the shot was used and how the shot effected that part of the opening.
We also used a vast amount of angle shots.
- Eye Level Shot it represents how the scene looks to somebody in a certain position we used this mostly throughout the opening so the audience were level with the characters.
- Low Angle Shot we used this when the killer was looking at the car and the people getting out of the car we was able to show the killers point of view and how he would of been seeing the characters at that time.
These again were picked out of the opening and showed great intrest we feel that we could learn alot from the feedback of the audience and if we was to do it again we would use some of the audience feedback to improve the opening sequence.
Audience feedback
From people who watched our video, comments we received included-
"It was a good idea to have speech involved in the opening because I was able to get an idea on what the film would be about, the title was a very good idea and the keys being missing. Altogether I thought it was brilliant and well thought out"
"First half of the video was very professional, but the voice overs at the end were not in time"
"The music really added to the tension"
"Loved the music."
"Very gripping - I loved the story line."
"The news reports at the beginning of the sequence are very effective"
"I think that that the music stopping half way through was a good idea because the tension was building up and then suddenly the same music came back i think it worked really well and created a good atmosphere and feeling towards the opening."
